Driving on your own
National Highway 1 (Sun Yat-sen Freeway): Chiayi System Interchange (272K) → County Highway169 → Provincial Highway 18 → Alishan National Recreation Area
National Highway 3 (Formosa Freeway): Jhongpu System Interchange (297K) →Provincial Highway 18 → Alishan National Recreation Area
⓪ There will be about 2 hours if you drive from Chiayi to Alishan.
※ Provincial Highway 21 vehicle access control time is from 17:00 to 7:00.
※ Private vehicles are prohibited to drive inside the park. Please park the car in front of the Visitor Center. We provide shuttle every 30 minutes.
※ The shuttle bus will depart from Visitor Center at every 20 and 50. After 17:00, the time will be 10 and 40. (18:10~21:10) The shuttle bus will depart from Alishan Bus Station at every 10 and 40. (8:40~16:40)

Please go to Front Station to take the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Bus.

Please go to Entrance No.2 to take the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Bus.
